Late Dr.Shambhunath Roy established a medical clinic along with pharmacy know as ROY PHARMACY in the year 1942 for the service of people in coal field area. It was further extended and renovated to ROY NURSING HOME in 1993 by Late Dr.S.N ROY(Grade I Officer) who received the Doctor of Millennium award for his selfless service to mankind.
