Pushpagiri Hospital is a 678-bed multidisciplinary super specialty hospital. The Hospital has a very humble origin started as an eight-bed clinic in 1959. The hospital was raised to the status of a teaching hospital in 2002. It has a NABH accreditation. Pushpagiri has grown to be one of the best Medical Institutes in Kerala. It was registered as a Charitable Society in the year 1992 (Reg. No. P. 73/92), under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955. In 2002 Pushpagiri Medical Society entered into the arena of higher education in the medical and allied fields by starting as the first private medical college in Kerala with the name Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre.
